This is a white foamcore model measuring 20x30x8in at 1:30 scale used to depict a design concept for a children’s exhibition on musical instruments for a Corcoran class project. The concept, which started as a series of hand sketches, reinterprets the story of my own childhood fascination and fear of musical instruments that appeared to me larger than life and largely out of my reach. Here, children are invited to explore instruments from the inside out.
