Akira (アキラ) 

Another redraw of one of my favorite animation film title Akira directed by Katsuhiro Otomo in 1988. It is a prominent movie know for it's great contribution in propelling the anime industry to what is is today. A cyberpunk film set in Neo Tokyo. Our protagonist, Kaneda, who is a biker gang leader tries to save his friend, Tetsuo, who was abducted by the government for their experiment that turned him into a psychic psychopath.  

This film surely is one for the books when it comes to animation and the subgenre, cyberpunk. It has inspired many films that came after it and it consider to be on of the most iconic animation film out there. I hope I did justice in recreating a scene from the movie.
