"Public art has the power to energize our public spaces, arouse our thinking, and transform the places where we live, work, and play into more welcoming and beautiful environments that invite interaction. Virginia Beach's public art program enhances our city's identity as a community that supports and promotes creative expression. It builds our sense of civic pride and enriches our quality of life." In the last year, art in the city (especially the VIBE district) has seen the most amazing work being created. Most of the projects were documented over time, in many different environments, and under many different constraints. The recreation center photos were confined areas that could only be shown through panoramic techniques.
The imagry was used in social media, online, and in print products promoting the city and the artwork.
The images were created with Canon 1DX markII's, 16-35mm lens, 24-300mm lens,
and using Profoto D2 1000 AirTTL flash units on some.
Initial production and final prep work was done in Photoshop Lightroom Classic
The panoramic images were created using Adobe Photoshop 2020.
