The rain drops and dark spots of the bright yellow flower are enhanced as you zoom closer.
After a night of rain all plants including the yellow green green leaves featured above.
This is the same yellow flower as before, but the position has changed and it enhances the center of the flower.
This is probably my favorite Micro photo because the close up enhances both the rain drops and spikes from the purple succulent as well as the center cobweb design of the green succulent.
Roses are always gorgeous right after a rain shower.
I really like the different color of this leaf and adding the texture of the leaf is shown more through the rain drops.
For this photo I zoomed in on the the flower and focused on the far petal that had speck of dirt and the texture of the succulent.
Zoomed in on the red succulent in front but had the camera focused on the tall plant behind it to play with foreground and blurred background.
I took this photo as to focus on the dirt on the succulent instead of the succulent it self. But I kept the succulent in focused to show the color and texture that contrasted the dirt.
In this micro photo the center is the focused, but the dirt is also in focused.
I took this shot to practice blurring the background though zooming in on this plant.
**I couldn't actually find the Micro assignment in the list of portfolios, but I thought you talked about it. So I copied the main questions that I remember answering from other portfolios.

1. I continued to refine my camera skills as a whole with this assignment. I had to play with the f-stop and shutter speed in order to blur the background and deal with a change in the lighting.
2. I think this is an actual assignment, but if it isn't making this an assignment for photo II is a great idea. I think it allows students to continue enhancing their camera skills and gets people outside and explore the natural wonders of Anacortes.
