Star Wars The Clone Wars - Captain Rex Helmet Build
The original helmet is based off the toy which was released when the show was running, however the proportions of the face were off, since it was designed for kids, however I wanted a more screen accurate representation of Captain Rex, so I decided to pull the whole helmet apart, re-configure/build the face, modify it so a adult can ware it, along with giving a paint job (with some creative liberties)
After these photos, I did end up making the weathering more subtle
