The EMpower Gala Dinner 2019, hosted by INvolve People, celebrates diversity in all areas of business. The 2019 event took place at The Underglobe, an underground venue found beneath Shakespeare's Globe on London's South Bank. The event showcase's business leaders who are breaking down barriers at work and working hard to smash the ceiling for ethnic minorities in the UK, Ireland, Europe, and people of colour in the United States and Canada.

The home of Shakespeare is an incredibly unique venue with a rich history. One that has always been controversial, diverse, and ahead of its time so it was a fitting location for the EMpower Gala dinner. The invitation and all event materials needed to hint at this unique location and show respect to the man himself. I created a Midsummer Nights Dream inspired botanical pattern that was equally modern and dreamlike in quality. Combined with the existing EMpower colours it gave the evening a unique aesthetic and created lovely keepsakes for guests.
