This is a physical miniature model of an original memorial design I built for my first project as a graduate student in Exhibition Design at the Corcoran School of Art+Design. I designed the model based upon my experiences at the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial and the Abraham Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC. The model is built using foamcore, plastic, tracing paper, moss, and images sourced online. It is intended to be a re-imagining of the Lincoln Memorial in the style of the FDR Memorial.
