BRIEF
Carbon Intelligence's mission is to enable a zero-carbon economy by helping businesses to optimise their energy performance and reduce carbon consumption. CI provides company-wide sustainability strategies and supports companies to meet global compliance standards, not just via their buildings but also through a lot more such as supply chains and travel for example.

INSIGHT
Most businesses are selling a service or product that increases, benefits, adds something to the company. CI, on the contrary, advertises a service that foremost focuses on reducing and minimising. The brand itself signifies change as well as a journey which needs to be taken to meet global sustainability standards. Furthermore, CI signifies the mutuality that can be created between sustainability and business value.

IDEA
The new logo plays with the idea of reduction by using solid and non-solid elements. Those two elements also symbolise the symbiosis between sustainability and business value. The logo style carries through to a bold photography style: reflection, refraction and interesting light compositions create eye-catching visuals. Colours are bright and deliberately move away from the competitor's usual shades of blue and green. Playful typography reflects the brand's values of curiosity, intelligence and ambition.
