PASSIONATE PERSPECTIVES
Senior Art Show 2020 Image
The purpose of the image is to advertise the senior art show to the students and faculty of California Lutheran University and beyond. Passionate Perspectives is a collection of artwork from the Art Department’s senior class of 2020 at Cal Lutheran. This exhibit explores each artist’s passion for environmental, political, cultural, or emotional subject matter. We all contribute a unique perspective through the lens of our own life experiences and views of current issues of the contemporary world through traditional and digital media. Artists include myself (Natalie Tseng), Karlie Anderson, Kori HessBailey Huerta, Dani Iribe, Sebastian Montoya, Thor Nualsumlee, Kaylee Reel, Mona Saii, and Jessi van der Laan.

I, Natalie, am the original creator of this concept of the honeycomb to represent each of us equally and symbolize that we worked together on the show itself, similar to how a bee colony operates. Overall, my main role in the graphic was conceptualization and execution. Bailey and I used Illustrator to create the honeycomb shapes and brought it into Photoshop to mask each image inside them. The group and I focused on developing the best image that made sense with each art piece's composition, subject matter, and colors. Scroll down to see my design process.
