The task was to organize and create a balance with the given texts and images while making use of a grid system. My Approach was combining Paul Rand’s intellectual Property with his work. The color palette was inspired by his IBM Latin America poster while the typography was influenced by his Quality poster. I used a two column grid across all spreads to have room to display Paul Rand’s sketches at a large scale. Finally, the measurements of the book are 10”x10”, much like a child’s illustration book to resonate the idea of play.
