ABSTRACT PIECES
My first abstract piece was created in a normal A3 paper. The materials I had used was acrylic paints, broken CDs, pictures from magazines, sharpened pencil bits, plastic, googly eyes, plastic spoons, and fabric.
The whole purpose of this abstract piece was a maze with no ends, so if you move to this side of the maze you will not find or know where you were before. So it's a world filled with confusion and filled with thrilling games and challenges to play. I took this concept after rewatching The Maze Runner for the trillionth time, honestly.
Next was this "robot" sort of looking abstract piece. This was also a project given my my highschool art teacher. She told us to create a robot piece that is up to us, but it has to be created fully out of materials we could find in the class. The first one I made does not look like this at all. At first I made a very fashionable robot with a dress. But then after 1 week being done, we still had time to fix it if we didn't like how it looked. Then I went to horror mode after watching Stephen King's movie and also after watching some ghost hunter documentaries. Then I remembered this one scene in Stephen King's movie which says "REDRUM" but then when you flip it, it shows something different which then spelled "MURDER". Which is very interesting to me because I used to hate horror movies growing up, but after rewatching them I fell in love with the type of thrill. A bit weird looking robot but this is my type of fun. What I enjoy from doing abstract is that you can be free creating what you want. So yes, this is my type of fun.
