Rocketship Logo
This logo is about space and rockets, that was the key theme I had to emphasis in my design. I chose to give this logo a colour scheme that used complementary colours, the two I chose were, Red and Green and Purple and Yellow. I originally chose Purple and Yellow for the typography because the Planet is Saturn which is an orange/yellow colour. I experimented with another set of the complementary colours once the design was complete. The rocket uses the Red + Green combination for its colours.
Logo Designs 7 + 8 were my first two final pieces, as much as I liked the design, with the underline shape and the rocket pouring flames onto the letter 'e', I felt like there might be too much happening in the design for a logo. I wanted to design a more simplified version of it. I feel Logo Designs 1-6 + 9 are a simpler version of the first two designs, with just the one object relating to space, or one coloured and one plain. I also created a rough mini animation at the end.
