Art 102- Masters Interpretation

Masters Interpretation
For our final project in Art 102 we were given a small swatch of famous art work and told to create a color palette using only that small swatch. We were allowed to use any medium, so utilizing all of the new techniques I had learned throughout the course I chose to paint a pair of jeans. I used acrylic paints and painted geometric shapes on the front and back to give a sort of retro feel. I used white to make the colors and shapes pop. The bottom of the jeans were cut into a scalloped pattern to mimic the shapes I painted on the jeans.
