SURACE MODULATIONS

The intent of the exercise was meant to teach us the process of parametric design.

THE 1st PHASE WAS TO EMPLOY  A SPECIFIC TECHNIQUE FROM BELOW MENTIONED TO TRANSFORM 2D PAPER INTO MODULES THAT ARE ARTICULATED IN 3D.
(wrap, pierce, hinge, knot, weave, compress, unfolD,, fold, press, crease, pleats, score, cut, pull up, rotate, twist, revolve,)
Explorations for the above mentioned phase
Selected module out of a number of various modules and taking it further for mapping
MAPPING:

CREATING DRAWINGS THROUGH MAPPING THE OUTCOMES OF THE PAPER MODEL EXERCISE.
Developing a new series of models that contains specific points of crossing and complementary information. The hatched part is the point of crossing.
Form Finding:
Deriving a system based on various findings from the previous phase
Rhino Model shown above was created with the help of a faculty
Repeating the singular model shown above multiple times in linear and non linear directions.
