This was my thesis project's third series of plexiglass etchings for my BA in Fine Arts at Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna.
It shows the exterior, the muscles, the bones and the organs of a vaquita (Phocoena sinus), each of them inked with the primary color blue, representing the element of water. The population of this porpoise now counts 10 or less individuals, making this small cetacean the most endangered of the marine mammal species.
