Art & Exhibition Retouching

Before and After views for a large auction house catalogue. Client required an installation to be dropped into a virtual room looking as natural as possible.
An unusual artifact required detailed cutting out from the background and dropping onto a white background. Precise use of the pen tool and blending modes were used to create a clean cutout and a slight shadow to add depth.
Before and After images of an installation that had been shot in poor light conditions. Client required the room to be lightened and the ceiling to be cleaned. Walls were also colour balanced so a more even white background was produced.
A piece made of different pieces of chewing gum had to be colour balanced for authenticity. Detail shots had to match the main shot, so each individual coloured piece of gum had to be colour checked.
Mannequin with couture dress needed cutting out and dropping onto white with a slight shadow retained.
