The White City refers to a collection of several thousand buildings built in a unique form based on the Bauhaus style in Tel-Aviv from the 1930's by Jewish architects from Germany and East European countries. The German Cultural influence is evident  in this architecture form. Tel-Aviv, with the largest number of buildings in this Bauhaus/International style in the world, is proclaimed as a World Cultural Heritage Site  by UNESCO.
