In the Ukraine, centuries ago, the poor families could not afford any plates in theis wooden houses. So they had to develop tables with gouged holes into which they served their meal.
Conference table Landscape is a transformation of this design. The holes were transformed into a kind of landscape that allows to use it in a diverse way. In various valleys you can put nuts, crisps, raisins, olives or whatever you can think of. The white plateau are intended for placing glasses and cups.
The solid oak board was machined on a CNC milling cutter and then polished by hand. Afterwards there was a white stain applied on the upper surface. The steel legs were inserted with no glue.
