As a part of the National Institute of Design - Product design curriculum, the students are supposed to prototype an existing object in a different scale.
Titan watch was chosen for this purpose. The prototype was made in teak wood. The Dial was made with the help of lathe. The strap was made to be fully function. Small metal wires were fixed in between the 3 rows.
Complex parts like the locking mechanisms were made with the help of experts.
The finished product with final paint work and a stand was made in Reliance Relwood.
