In 1972, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) coined the term “World Heritage Site,” which represents a landmark area of cultural, natural or scientific significance, that are judged to be important to the collective interests of humanity and therefore protected by international treaties.
The ideology behind this declaration is to protect, preserve and cherish the eloquent and inspired artistic expressions of the great minds that preceded us and to pass these on to future generations as a magnanimous favour. This ideology captures the very essence of what we aim to translate through our design concepts at Heritage Luxury Suites. Therefore, for our 2020 calendar, we have chosen to showcase a brief selection of these World Heritage Sites.
