This was a personal project I recently worked on. Inspired by traditional Ukrainian head pieces I wanted to be able to create an exaggerated version (without having to make an actual head piece.)

This was the original sketch for the concept. Originally I wanted to add some cyborg touched an a horn type crown, in the end I went with a more simple look. 

The flowers and model were photographed separately. In order to save money I decided to go to my local Dollar store and purchase a bunch of various flowers. I believe I paid $16 total for all the flowers, whereas if I was to purchase real flowers it would have easily cost around $100.
