Queer Protest Art

Queer Protest Art  is a multimedia series which explores Protest Art within the Queer community. Speaking to various Queer identifying individuals, the aim is to find out what Queer Protest Art looks like, what it is in and who can partake in it in our country. Featured in this snippet is Kneo Mokgopa,  a graduate of the Wilfred & Jules Kramer Law School at the University of Cape Town. They are currently writing their Masters in Rhetoric Studies at UCT on South African identity systems and are the Communications Manager at the Nelson Mandela Foundation. 

Queer: A term for sexual & gender minorities who are not Heterosexual or Cisgender.
Protest: Strong complaint, expressing disagreement.
Art: Expression or application of human creative skill & imagination.
