Lighthugger
Fan art isn't something I go in for very often, partly because it often requires patience for details in modelling which I rarely have. However I came across a sketch by author Alastair Reynolds of a Lighthugger (you can see the sketch and find more information on Lighthuggers here) from his Revelation Space series of books (which I love) and thought that is something I could give a go. So here is my take on a Lighthugger, complete with a Shroud (more info here) visible in the background behind the planet.
