Rite of Spring is a self directed publication utilising old media processes. The zine was created entirely without a computer instead using a flower press, a typewriter, and a GR3770 Risograph. The floral imagery was gathered and pressed in the 1980s by my mother and left in her flower press until 2017. The media was scanned directly into the Risograph and features Burgundy ink on 80gsm pink paper for the interior pages and Grey ink is printed onto 20gsm butter paper for the cover. The zine is bound using a Japanese stab binding.
