A lightweight and efficient helmet designed to be used by route cyclists.
Concept
The main focus of this project was to work on the complex surface aesthetics that characterize this kind of product and, at the same, consider other factors like productive efficacy and efficiency, ergonomics, safety, and air cooling / aerodynamics, to name a few.
Ideation
Based on the mentioned factors, several different proposals were generated as possible design approaches.
The main purpose of these different shapes was to try various connotative messages and be explorative. From more geometrical shapes associated with rationalism and efficiency to more organic ones that refer to acceleration and dynamism.
