DIY Binoculars
A self assemblable binoculars toy
This is one of the projects that I did from Smartivity Labs Pvt. Ltd. during my internship over there. In this project, I was asked to replicate a binocular out of Medium Density Fiberboard. My deliverable expected out of this project was proof of concept and a final prototype with good aesthetics. The constraints given to me were that the total number of MDF parts in assembly to be less than 20 and as it was a small project, I was asked to finish it within 2 days.
Proof of Concept made and tested
Provision for attaching foam had to be given at the eye piece side after user testing with the model. As the 2.5 mm thick MDF when pressed over the temple area while playing made it uncomfortable.
