For this project I was inspired by the show, "Parks and Recreation" as a wedding invitation idea. I have always admired this color scheme because it is simple, but really feels welcoming, which is something you'd want for a wedding invitation. Overall I discovered in this project that I like using shapes that are off center.
As the wedding invitation was inspired by "Parks and Recreation" so is this quote design too. The intent was to make a gradient that looked like a transition, just as the quote is shifting and giving into a transition in a specific order. The purpose was to start out with a shade that looked similar to a waffle and shift it to a friendlier pink. I wanted it to feel sophisticated, delicate and fun while still maintaining a relation to the quote.
This is the logo, with and without color for a project we had. This was the foundation for "BEE gardens". I really was trying to find something that included the animal or activity I was doing in the actual word of the logo itself. Thankfully with some help, this was born and became a foundation for the brand itself.
This is a poster I made for a potential-local farmers market during a poster assignment for a local event of our choice. I used the pen tool to trace images and shapes into specific fruits, vegetables, flowers and more to represent things that would be sold by marketers. making this, the poster needed to feel authentic, even down to the title.
For some reason, Behance would only allow me to upload this one individual side of this. This is a brochure for the Golden Gate Trail. The inside is honestly the better half, but as i mentioned, it wouldn't let me. I had hoped that the off center squares would present a more outdoorsy feel, as well as the color scheme of the earth and things that you may see on the trail, such as the bike or trees.
This was the beginning work of my adobe learning, so it isn't very good, but it had potential at least. the idea was that it was a taco shop that was irresistible to the point of  being late or unexcused from class or work because it was so good. I had intended to make the shapes into something similar to a taco to catch people's attention.
This was one of the three social media posts for the farmers market poster and project constructed by the pen tool and the eye dropper tool. The beet was placed in individual shapes but the color was added by me, since the original beet image was black and white. Again for some reason, this image is quite distorted and not to the full quality to which it was originally designed. Overall, it was fun to make and a with it pun, I'd say. definitely my favorite social media post out of the three.
As for some of the others, This was a social media post for the farmers market poster design. The image is blurry and I have no idea why. The chicken was also constructed using the pen tool from a separate image and then placed on a color found within the farmers market poster.
This is an orange which served as a social media post to advertise the farmer's market previously presented. For some reason the colors on all of behance are crazy distorted compared to my actual designs, but this was originally a bright orange that represented the content of what might be displayed at the farmers market. I used the pen tool to structure each individual shape.
