CD booklet design based on the song Newborn by Elbow. The song includes themes of dementia, I decided therefore to base the project on my own Grandfathers life as he suffers with Alzheimer's.
I used old family photographs of my Grandad to represent key moments in his life. The reverse side includes a line linking all the images in chronological order, like a timeline/lifeline. However, the line is not linear to represent the illness - how memories become confused.
