Fairfax Photos - Brand Identity Refresh

Problem
Fairfax Photos sells hard copy prints of photographs, front pages, and selected artwork from Fairfax Media’s
award-winning photographers, cartoonists, and partners, for home use. They felt that the brand as a whole needed a new look to tie everything they offer together as one.

Solution
To refresh the brand, I made the photos the hero. I introduced a black background to create the feeling of an old film slide and chose a black, grey and white colour palette. In the new tagline lockup, the bold words acted as the headline. The only pop of colour (blue) was used sparingly in the logo.
