Sidney Nolan Centenary Celebrations - Advertising Campaign
Problem
To celebrate Sidney Nolan's centenary, his UK trust along with The Store created an exclusive, limited-edition collection of 12 works. This advertising campaign needed to capture the beauty of his work as well as result in sales.
Solution
Sidney Nolan was best known for his depictions of Ned Kelly, so I created full-page magazine ads with minimal text and this iconic image as the hero of the ad. This image made up the introduction series and paved the way for the rest of the collection to be shown in both print and online. Each ad after that showed more pieces available for sale and educated the viewer on the extent of his Australian subject matter for this exclusive collection.
