These silhouettes were created as a project for an art history elective about the relationship between text and image in art throughout time. For this project, I drew inspiration from my multiracial background. These images depict profiles of my father and I. The purpose is to explore how the racialized captions influence the way the viewer comprehends silhouettes with minimal detail.
