Grafas
Grafas is an individual branding and packaging project. The aim was to create a brand and packaging by combining a place and an object or service. I chose calligraphy from China.
The name is a combination of Chinese and English words meaning scripture or calligraphy. The logo too has been inspired by the fluid movement of Chinese calligraphy. I used a Chinese calligraphic pen to create the strokes of the logo.
The packaging has been influenced from Chinese traditional paintings, which consist of bright colours and mostly flora and fauna. The design had been hand painted by me and then edited in Adobe Photoshop.
The packaging set includes a brush box, calligraphic paper bundle, ink pot, ink stones and a special pack with all the mentioned products.
