I'll admit that I am as geeky, if not more so then most, so Adventure Time is a staple of things that I constantly surround myself with. In Season 3 epsiode "What Was Missing," Marceline sings "I'm Just Your Problem." I enjoyed the song so much that I was inspired to draw some of my own fan art. Unfortunately the paper got creased before I could finish my sketch (if you saw my sketch pad this would come as no big surprise), so I figured that I would use this time to work on both my digital inking and painting skills (something that, trust, I need plenty of work on). Below is the sketch. This is then followed by the intial skin palette that I would use for both Marceline and Princess Bubblegum (they shade to the exact some color so I just need to start on opposite ends of my palette). The only reason it is posted before the inking is that I began to get frustrated so I wanted to take a little breather. I am still hoping that I will finish it, even if it has gotten pushed to the back burner.
