_Project Rationale
A project comprising of breaking down an essay we
had written during the year and making an exhibition
catalogue out of its content.
Based around the idea that the London Underground,
New York Subway and Berlin U-Bahn all contributed
their own unique piece to modern wayfinding as we
know it today; three catalogues were made to represent
each entity, which are presented as a set. The unique
logos of each underground creating the visual identity
for the Order Out of Chaos Exhibition. The three maps
that combine on each cover were hand traced and
overlayed onto each other to both represent the variation
in wayfinding design and similarity in production.
