‘2D is no longer enough’ in a world where every movie you see now in 3D,
2D imaging needs to keep up. This is what this project is about; it’s a series of 3D anaglyph colour photos based on the style of film stills with a narrative of a story that unfolds but not entirely clear. Its mission is to test the reaction of the audience to the 3D photographs to define the link ‘the real’ and seeing, if it effects the way we feel about the photos, taking us into an extra dimension.
With influences taken from film directors such as Quentin Tarantino, It has a sense of the unknown yet the settings are so mundane, along with the vulnerability of the feminine presence in the scenes.
