The purpose of this project is to design and name a photographic font. This assignment is an opportunity to begin observing the world around us more closely and find ways to make letters out of the objects that we observe. The goal is to see opportunities for design beyond the expected.

I chose to use fruits, vegetables, plants, spices, or other edible objects to create my font. Hence the name, "Edibles". I tried out several variations for some of the letters and decided to stick with a more "earthy" or "farm to table" theme. 

Not all of the letters I found were needed. Some were not part of the font name. Others just didn't fit the feel of the final presentation. They are headed to the compost bin.
