This Chameleon is made of cast glass. In order to make it I first made a shape out of clay. I coated it with clear coat the seal it and to prevent it from sticking to the OOMOO mold. Later I fill the mold with liquid wax. After dry I removed the wax from the mold getting the "brown like" copy of my design.
Later I made a wax reservoir and place both on a plywood base. I then created a cilinder around the piece and cover it with three different mixes of plaster. After it dried I steamed the wax out leaving just the plaster mold. I cleaned it and coated with Shellac and reforced the mold with some wire rings. I put the amount of glass powder need for the piece and it's put inside the kiln.
Few days later is ready and taken out of the kiln. The plaster mold is destroyed leaving just the glass piece.
