This website explores the attitudes of Hastings' residents and businesses towards the Jerwood Art Gallery build on the Stade. Conflicting opinions are explored through the site. Some locals are under the impression that Jerwood Gallery should never have been granted permission to build on the Stade (a former coach park) because it is too close to the fishing village and ruins the historical and cultural feel of this much loved area. Others believe that the gallery will be beneficial to the community by attracting additional tourism. The arguments and opinions are explored through the use of illustration, video and voice recordings.
