Business card, brochure, and Word Press website
Counseling in Schools provides on-site counseling and programming for schools in distressed neighborhoods. They had purchased a logo from a logo mill, and needed me to do final production work on the logo to make it work in properly in print. They also asked me to design their business cards, brochure, and organizational website.
Business Cards: For CIS business card design, I separated the logo flower shape and used it as a spot illustration on the business card back.
Map-Fold Brochure: CIS’ brochure was designed to be a map fold, folding in 1/2 once, and then into quarters. That fold permitted us to divide the brochure text into coherent sections. The mandala shape was positioned to wrap across panels and from front to back covers, echoing the business card design.
The interior of the brochure featured the logo mandala centered, and surrounded by testimonials. I used the mandala petal shapes to frame CIS photos from their programs.
Website: The CIS website was designed in Word Press, using their photography. I created the website using simple tabs and toggle accordions to cut down on the number of pages on the website, simplifying the navigation. The website incorporated a Google map with custom pins showing CIS's multiple on-site programs and program types.
