WhatsApp notification micro upgrade: 

A small design that I decided to do in my leisure time to address a major issue that I face in my day to day interaction with WhatsApp. The issue and the solution are addressed detail in the below sections. The work done is completely made from scratch. Designed with a reference of android material design version of Lollipop.

Major Pain point: Users cannot know whether the received message from their contact is a reply to an old message or a new message. In this below demonstration, you can clearly see that Dr strange's reply points to a old message that talks about a strategy. The user cannot know which strategy Dr strange is referring to. Consequences: User have to open the app to know which message is getting replied to. He cannot reply to Dr Strange via notification itself. 

Solution: To address the problem, the old message to which the reply was received has to be displayed when that particular conversation is selected in the notifications. In this below demonstration, the user can see which strategy Dr Strange is referring to and he will able to continue the conversation without opening the app. Many a times people's conversations are getting misled or they have to open the conversation to see which old message they are getting replied. This is a major pain point Whatsapp should address. It completely nullifies the ability to converse via notifications itself.
