Casten Planet
During the 2018 election cycle, I volunteered to work with an organization called "Creative Cabinet" - they paired progressive candidates across the country with graphic designers, illustrators, web designers, photographers, and other creatives who wanted to support the progressive movement.
This illustration was commissioned by the campaign team of Sean Casten, an Illinois candidate who wound up winning a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. His platform focused largely on the urgency of environmental issues, and his team hoped to inspire millennials by recasting Casten as the 1980's beloved Captain Planet.
