Before even thinking of a project about European harbour cities (on which I eventually dedicated 5 years of my life), I've been invited to the wedding of two very good friends of mine. During the wedding, exlaining that I was an architectural photographer, two friends of the bride invited my to visit Düsseldorf, where they were living, to discover the former harbour's great architecture. Landing there at 10pm on a Friday night, I just had 24 hours to take pictures.
