The Arithmomarium is a game based on a symptom of OCD. Arithmomaria is a disorder where sufferers have an obsession with numbers and counting. Often sufferers will count objects around them, the number of steps they take, how many times they chew, etc. The Arithmomarium was designed to covey the frustration and also the comfort that Arithmomaniacs go through. 

 

Game 1 // Based on the traditional 15 puzzle, player must move the blocks to put the numbers in order from 1 - 15. This game is designed to show the frustration sufferers can face when trying to count or organise things in particular numbers or sequences.

 

Game 2 // The counting beads are used to distract the mind from worry and stresses. The rules are simple - use the beads to count particular objects, names, colours, etc... Distracting your mind and helping you to relax.
