(ZODIAC SIGNS)
Knowing the unknowns! By the name of the topic we can get an idea about the theme, it’s basically the curiosity of the people around the world to know more and more and to unfold each possible mystery. People pushes their limits to for knowledge, that’s one of the main characteristic of human being which makes them the most intelligent living spices on the earth. We believe that knowledge is the most powerful weapon, it can be used for both good and bad. It varies from person to person how they want to use it. Everything that we know today was once unknown/mystery to us few centuries or decades ago. Now with each chapter we unfold we find some more new unsolved mysteries. The hunger of knowledge is a never ending process. We continuously solving problems, learning, growing and making our life better with the knowledge we gain. So let’s come back to our main topic without much drifting away from it. So here I have chosen the theme zodiac not only because it connects with stars, sun, moon space and the 5 elements of earth but also it fulfils the title of the theme (knowing the unknown). So how zodiac connects to the title?
Have you ever questioned yourself, what’s gonna happen in your future? What are your strengths and weakness? What might happen to you today? What’s the other person’s personality might be like? Etc. Well if you ever had previously mentioned thoughts, then it’s obviously that curiosity already made a room inside you. Long ago greek astrologers studied about it and a zodiac ring was prepared, which has 12 zodiac signs, Each zodiac sign dividing the ring in 30 degree angle and making their room inside the ring. It’s said the by studying the Space, stars and planets and the day an individual is born, they can be grouped under a particular zodiac sign among 12 others zodiac signs. Here the 30 degree angle also denoted the time period of each zodiac sign, which is approximately 30 days. Again each zodiac signs has its own place in the space, they have their unique star formations, they have their own elements from earth, and also they have their own spirit animals. However now the reads must introduced to the important elements of earth, and each element of earth which is again shared by three zodiac signs. There are four elements of our planet namely, Air , water, fire and earth(soil). One more interesting thing about the zodiac signs are that each zodiac sign have one or more ruling planets for them. They have they days in a week and also each zodaic have few lucky numbers to themselves and list doesnsn’t ends here, the zodiac signs even have their lucky colors, we will see all of them mentioned and many other new things about them as we move forward in this project.
Starting with first zodiac sign on the list Fire: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius. Earth:Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn.
Air: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius.

There are 12 zodiac signs, and each sign has its own strengths and weaknesses, its own specific traits, desires and attitude towards life and people. By analysing the projection of the position of planets, and the Sun and the Moon on the Ecliptic at the moment of birth. BRIEF ON THE COLLECTION
As the collection is inspired from the zodiac/horoscope, all the elements of each garments in this collection is derived from their individual zodiac’s star formation/ their sign/it’s spirit animals. As the Graduation project was sponsored by chase lifestyle Pvt ltd, the collection was focused totally on casual street wear.
As the company is an e-commerce brand and it’s difficult to grab the attention of customers through the screens of their devices, I was asked to play with the color contrast without deviating from the theme. I choose the color palate from the major colors of space and common colors from zodiac signs.

Only 7 garments were developed out of 12 zodiacs due to some limitations by my college and the sponsored company.
