Architecture visualization office

For this project, I created a realtime low poly architecture visualization in the Unreal engine. The scene is optimized for desktop and tablet use, hence the use of low-poly models.

For the starting point, the client gave a picture of the oval reception style office desk.
The remainder of the furniture, assets and layout was chosen by me.

The office contains two implied spaces, the waiting style area and the reading space. Otherwise the layout is kept fairly minimalist based on the oval and rounded shape, reflected in the furniture, lamps and carpet.

I created all 3D Models, Uvs, Materials, LODs and the lighting.
One of the challenges, was that the scene should be fully lit and has clean materials.

Naturally a game engine is not made for this, so I UVd a second pass which had pixel-snapped UVs for the light-maps to solve most of the light-map issues.
Since it cannot be dramatically lit and has no eye adaption the contrast is fairly low between the dark and light areas, which is also to preserve the clean light-maps.

Lastly are some shots of the in-scene view-port, depicting some of the construction of the scene. The wire-frame, the light-only and the LODs which also shows the light-sources.
