The New York School gained international fame in the 1950s. Famous designers of “The New York School” include Paul Rand (1914–1996), Alvin Lustig (1915–1955) and Saul Bass (1921– 1996). Starting with Modernism in Europe, The New York School prospered from post-war economic and technological developments. This movement continues to inspire young designers.
