NUCLEAR | Posters

“Unreasoning and unreasonable human nature causes two nations to compete, though no economic necessity compels them to do so; it induces two political parties or religions with amazingly similar programs of salvation to fight each other bitterly, and it impels an Alexander or a Napoleon to sacrifice millions of lives in his attempt to unite the world under his scepter. We have been taught to regard some of the persons who have committed these and similar absurdities with respect, even as "great" men, we are wont to yield to the political wisdom of those in charge, and we are all so accustomed to these phenomena that most of us fail to realize how abjectly stupid and undesirable the historical mass behavior of humanity actually is.”
Konrad Lorenz
PROJECT Description
Here is a series of posters, revealing the phenomenon of the nuclear attack. Each poster seeks to convey the scale and destructive power of a nuclear weapon.

The color solution is based on the opposition of red and black colors. It emphasizes the chaotic and uncontrollable destructiveness of nuclear weapons, which does not separate a civilian from an armed soldier and incinerates everything on its path. This destructiveness is also transmitted through the work with the font.
First
The font conveys the idea of structure and order well and on the first poster is presented in a holistic and wide variety.
SeCOND
Only one font remains on the board, which symbolizes the totality and inevitability of the process as well as the destruction of any great variety. The structure of the font is broken as if under the influence of radiation, dividing it into primary elements: external and internal counter-forms.
THIRD
On the last poster, the voltage reaches a high point provoking an explosion, which finally anilylates any order and integrity. Font counter-forms on this poster completely stops to associated with the structure and order of the font, turning into simple abstract elements — the destruction is complete.
