Pieces of People is one of the first projects I started working with my Canon AE-1 in a black and white film. The places as well as the styling are coordinated by me.
The atmospheres and the sensations that I felt with this photos, at my neighborhood, an abandoned apartment, a lonely street and an old park, are just some of the beautiful and mysterious places that remind me things lived in the past.
I pretend to combine in these little portraits, something I call “the poetry of the photography”, using shadows, textures, long hair, shoes, tattoos and antique accessories.
I intend to photograph people in a way they would never have looked to themselves.
