Child Support Awareness Month is a national initiative to help inform all parents and the general public about the programs available to help them through child support services.

California Child Support Services produced this video as part of a full campaign for use by the 49 county agencies that distribute child support services directly to the public.  The video was available on state/county websites and social media accounts creating increases in impressions, sharing and subscribers.  Twitter impressions doubled in August over July averaging over 1000 a day.  Facebook impressions increased 92% over July and reach doubled from 58,000 unique viewers to 125,500.  Sharing of YouTube videos increased by 96% and channel subscribers by 39%. 

This video was fully produced (shot and edited) by the in-house media team using Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop software, HP Z series computers and Canon cinema cameras.  Department staff and their families/friends volunteered as 'actors' in the scenes.
