For this graphic assignment, we were to expand on the use of the pen tool, creating various irregular shapes and structures to develop the physical characteristics of a person, in this case: ourselves. Created over an image taken, the asymmetrical forms are then matched to that designated color, are unified with other shapes to then create the illusion of a face. It was also importance to understand the principles of shadowing and highlighting. Irregular forms closer to the light source in the original image are going to be lighter/ paler in comparison the shapes further away from the light source will be darker/ richer in color.
